Barnyard mixes come with a variety of colors, personalities, and egg laying habits which makes each hen a one of a kind delight. Barnyard mixes are not a breed as such but are a free spirited conglomeration of different breeds, interbreeding and producing more barnyard mixes. Our Rhode Island Red, French Black Copper Maran, Delaware, Leghorn, Australorps, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Light or Buff Brahma and possibly Buff Orpington genetics. These barnyard mixes tend to be hardier and more disease resistant.
